I'm interested in a lot of things — arguably too many. If I could get paid just to be constantly learning something new, I'd be the happiest man on the planet. That’s one of the many reasons I decided to write a book.

I figured, if I can become a published fantasy author then there's literally nothing I can't learn. If something doesn't fit the story, doesn't matter. I still get to enjoy the process of learning it. With a little luck and a lot of hard work, these stories might just make me enough money to keep writing and keep learning from here on out.

Anyhow, that's the dream. This site tracks the dream via the colder, harsher reality of trying to make it happen. Along the way, plus a few of my other hobbies and minor obsessions along the way. Predominantly, Ai.

I'm experimenting with AI. My exploration of what it means to be human in the age of AI. And my desperate and probably ultimately flawed attempt to completely remove myself from any kind of locked in tech dependence.

I don't want to live inside walled gardens. I don't want to be locked into subscription models. I don't want to be owned. I don't want my attention manipulated for profit. I want to own my data. I want to own my identity. I want to reclaim my mind space. And use that space to write my book, get published, and live a better, more fulfilling life.

I don't have a manifesto, but if I did it'd be something like this.
